Nasdaq

It's ten years since the Nasdaq peaked, as I mentioned in my post the other day. The Today programme on Radio 4 did a piece on it this morning, talking to an internet success story and a representative connected with internet hype.

For the former, Betfair fitted the bill; for the latter, Boo.com.

Edward Wray, Betfair's co-founder and now non-executive chairman, and a chap whose name I didn't catch, replicated the success and failure stories verbally (i.e. Ed was well worth listening to; IMO the other chap was not).

If you missed it, it's 22 minutes in on iPlayer.
